Terms and Conditions for a Free Courtesy Car:

1. Eligibility
• The courtesy car is provided free of charge to customers whose vehicle is undergoing repairs at our shop for atleast 4hours or above
• The driver must be at least 21 years old (or 25, depending on insurance policy) and hold a valid full UK driving licence for at least 12 months.
• Proof of address may be required.
• The customer must sign a loan agreement before taking the courtesy car.

2. Insurance & Liability
• The customer must provide proof of comprehensive insurance that covers driving a temporary replacement vehicle.
• If the customer’s insurance does not cover the courtesy car, a temporary insurance policy must be purchased at their own expense.
• Any excess fees, fines, penalties, or damages incurred while using the vehicle are the customer’s responsibility.
• The customer is liable for any damage beyond fair wear and tear.

3. Vehicle Usage
• The courtesy car is for personal use only and must not be used for commercial purposes, including hire, delivery, or ride-sharing services.
• The vehicle must not be taken outside the Hamilton City limits without prior written permission.
• The customer must not exceed a mileage limit of 20 KMs per day.
• Smoking and transporting pets in the vehicle are strictly prohibited.

4. Fuel Policy
• The car is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount.
• If the car is returned with less fuel, a refuelling charge will apply.

5. Return Conditions
• The courtesy car must be returned on the agreed date or when the customer’s vehicle is ready for collection.
• Late returns may result in a daily charge of $50 NZD
• The car must be returned in a clean and roadworthy condition. Additional cleaning charges may apply if necessary.

6. Breakdown & Accidents
• In the event of a breakdown, the customer must contact the repair shop immediately for assistance.
• In case of an accident, the customer must report it to both the police and the repair shop as soon as possible.
• The customer must provide full details of any third parties involved in an accident.

7. Penalties & Charges
• Any parking fines, speeding tickets, or other traffic violations incurred while using the vehicle are the sole responsibility of the customer.
• Any damage, missing parts, or excessive wear may result in additional charges.

Free Vehicle Health Check – Terms & Conditions


1. Eligibility
• The free vehicle health check is available to all customers and applies to passenger vehicles only (excludes commercial, heavy-duty, and modified vehicles).
• The service must be pre-booked and is subject to availability.
• The vehicle must be in a drivable condition to qualify for the check.

2. Scope of the Health Check

The free vehicle health check includes a visual inspection of:
• Tyres (tread depth, pressure, and condition)
• Brakes (visual check of pads, discs, and fluid levels)
• Battery (condition and charge level)
• Fluids (engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, power steering, and washer fluid levels)
• Lights (headlights, brake lights, indicators, and fog lights)
• Wipers & Washers (blade condition and functionality)
• Suspension & Steering (visual check for wear and leaks)
• Exhaust System (visual inspection for leaks or damage)

3. Limitations
• The health check is not a substitute for a full vehicle service or WOF test.
• No repairs or replacements will be carried out during the check unless agreed upon separately.
• The check is non-diagnostic and does not include detailed fault-finding, software scans, or dismantling of vehicle components.

4. Customer Responsibilities
• Customers must ensure the vehicle is available at the agreed time.
• Any additional work identified during the health check will be discussed, and no repairs will be carried out without customer consent.
• Customers must provide accurate vehicle details at the time of booking.

5. Liability & Warranty
• The workshop is not liable for any pre-existing faults or issues discovered during the check.
• The health check is free of charge, and the workshop holds no responsibility for any issues arising after the inspection.
• If safety concerns are identified, the customer will be advised accordingly, but the decision to proceed with repairs remains with the customer.

6. Duration & Booking
• The health check typically takes 10 minutes and is offered on an appointment basis only.
• Walk-in appointments may be accepted, subject to availability.

7. Cancellations & Rescheduling
• Customers should notify the workshop at least 24 hours in advance if they need to cancel or reschedule.
• The workshop reserves the right to decline or reschedule checks based on workload or unforeseen circumstances.

Free Pickup and Drop-Off Service – Terms & Conditions


1. Eligibility
• The free pickup and drop-off service is available within a 5 KMs radius of the workshop.
• Customers must book the service in advance and confirm availability.
• The service is applicable only for scheduled repairs at our workshop which takes more than 8 hours or above.

2. Service Availability
• The pickup and drop-off service is available Monday to Friday, between 9am to 4pm.
• Same-day pickup/drop-off is subject to availability and must be confirmed at least 24 hours in advance.
• We reserve the right to decline or cancel the service due to operational constraints, adverse weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.

3. Customer Responsibilities
• The vehicle must be in a safe, drivable condition for pickup. If the vehicle is undrivable, the customer must inform the workshop beforehand.
• Customers must provide access to the vehicle, keys, and necessary documents (e.g., insurance and logbook, if required).
• The vehicle must be legally parked and accessible at the scheduled pickup time.
• The customer is responsible for securing/removing any valuable items from the vehicle before pickup.

4. Liability & Insurance
• While in transit, the vehicle will be covered by our insurance policy, but we are not liable for any pre-existing damage or mechanical issues that arise during transportation.
• Customers must disclose any known mechanical faults or issues that could affect the safe transportation of the vehicle.
• The workshop is not responsible for delays due to traffic, road closures, or unforeseen circumstances.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling
• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup to avoid inconvenience.
• The workshop reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the pickup/drop-off if unforeseen circumstances arise.

6. Drop-Off Conditions
• Once repairs/servicing are completed, the vehicle will be returned to the same location as pickup, unless agreed otherwise.
• The customer must ensure someone is present to receive the vehicle and sign off on the return.
• If no one is available to accept the vehicle, it will be returned to the workshop, and the customer must arrange collection.

7. Additional Charges
• Free pickup and drop-off apply only within 5 KMs radius from our workshop. Additional charges may apply for locations beyond this limit.
• If the vehicle is not ready or accessible at the agreed pickup time, a waiting charge or rescheduling fee may apply.
